Puerto Aventuras Golf Course
Puerto Aventuras boasts a beautiful, nine-hole, par 36 golf course that is as challenging as it is charming. Thomas Leman designed the course in 1991. Hidden away in the jungle out of which it was created, its fairways lined by lush tropical jungle vegetation, the Puerto Aventuras Club de Golf remains one of the areas best-kept secrets.
Here golfers can appreciate the wide variety of jungle flora that lines the beautifully manicured fairways covered with soft Bermuda carpet grass. Broad leaves and hardwood trees with buttressed root systems, bougainvillea in full bloom, tropical fichus, and coconut palms are just some of the lush vegetation. During any given round, golfers are likely to encounter deer, iguanas basking in the sunlight, and any number of different species of tropical birds and fauna that make this beautiful, natural golf course their home.

This Greg Norman designed golf course is a 7,000-yard layout that is unique in that it bends through three distinctive landscapes; mangrove jungles, limestone canals, and stunning oceanfront stretches of sand. El Camaleón will be the proud host of the PGA TOUR from 2007 to 2013, with the first ever official event in Mexico, The Mayakoba Classic Cancun - Riviera Maya. Please note that in preparation and during this important event, the golf course will remain closed for individual and group reservations from February 12 to 27 (inclusive), 2007.
